Data Logging

Before running your Avionics test list, select or clear the Data Logging check box to enable or disable data logging.

When enabled, measurements is logged and readings are stored in a data log for each executed test plan.

  • The data log files are stored with an *.ivif file extension in the "Documents" folder on your computer and are organized by instrument type. For example, C:\Users\<user_name>\Documents\Keysight\PathWaveACSource\Data Logs\Avionics\<avionics_test_file_name>\<yyyy-MM-dd-hh-mm-ss>\.
  • The default file name consists of the Test Standard followed by the revision, category 1, category 2, output mode, test name, date, and current time. For example, DO-160_F_A(CF)_115V_1 Phase_16.5.1.1_Voltage And Frequency (Emergency Operation Conditions)-2021-11-12-13-11-46.

While not connected to an instrument, you can load a previously-stored Data Log file and view it in the Offline Data Log Viewer. For more information, see Load Offline Data Log.
